Bruce Moser, Professor of Music, holds the Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and the Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Stetson University, the Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and the Post-Master’s Certificate in Music Theory Pedagogy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to joining the faculty at Gardner-Webb in 2014, Dr. Moser taught four years at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, NC, taught mathematics at Winter Park High School in Winter Park, FL, and held adjunct teaching positions at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  While at GWU, he has received the 2016 Alfred and Shirley Wampler Caudill Rising Star Award and the 2019 Excellence in Teaching Award.  He lives in Shelby with his wife Michelle and his twin daughters Annie and Avery.
